These methods are not interchangeable. A targeted residential application can address protected resting sites that a truck traveling down the street may not reach. Conversely, municipal programs operate at a neighborhood scale that one residential service cannot reproduce.
Fogging can provide faster relief because it targets the adults biting now. However, it does not automatically stop the next group from emerging from a clogged gutter, plant saucer, storm drain, irrigation box, or neighboring yard.
